Removing Acrylic Nails?

I've been soaking my fingers in pure acetone for an hour and they're not getting soft at all, what do I do?Removing Acrylic Nails?
Take them to a trusted nail technicion who will remove them for you. it shouldnt cost more than ten dollars and is alot better for you than trying to remove them yourself. Make sure you dont just pop them off that will damage your nails REALLY bad and make bad bumps and ridges, try filing them down or using a nail clipper to clip them shorter and just keep filing or buffing with a buffing wedge!

hope i helped!

they must b some real good nails

go 2 da nail salon n get them taken off it only cost 5 bucks
Try using warm soapy water and soak your hands, then use acetone. You have to let it soak for awhile, they will eventually become softer, it is not a pleasure able process. It is going to hurt through the whole process, and your real nails will be so thin and damaged. You should never leave a set of acrylic nails on for more than 6-8 weeks at a time. Good luck. Being pretty, takes pain.
i always have to wedge something under them and pop them off. it hurts like hell but it gets them things off! thats the only thing that ever worked for me. and if you go to the nail place thats about they do and it hurts worse to me when they do it. good luck (:
You're gonna have to help them along, like scrape at the soft stuff with an orangewood stick. Pure acetone isn't necessarily a good way to remove them... there's specific removers that will do the trick. You could also file them down quite a bit and then just wait for them to slowly grow out so you can benefit from some of the acrylic protection.

Rinse the acetone off reeeeely good when you're done and use lots of hand lotion. you're really going to dry your fingernails, skin and cuticles out, especially if you stay in the acetone longer.

Don't pop them off!!! That will take layers of your own nails off!
go to a nail salon
go to the nail salon and they will take them off. I myself also had a hard time getting my acrylic nails off
