With acrylic nails?

when you get acryilc nails and you have them paint them can you take off the polish and repaint them or does that ruin the nails?

thanksWith acrylic nails?
You can remove the polish with no problem. And it really doesn't matter if you use pure acetone, acetone polish remover, or acetone-free nail polish remover. Sure, on the bottle of acetone-free remover it says that it's safe for acrylic nails, but I use pure acetone all the time on my clients with acrylic nails, and I have yet to see any get damaged from using it. The acetone would have to stay on the nails for a while before any softening would begin to occur. Acetone removes polish more quickly and thoroughly than non-acetone polish remover. The trick is to not let it stay on your nails long. Just remove the polish, and then wash your hands. Or, use acetone-free polish remover. It's your choice. But, any of the ones I mentioned will do the job just fine. And don't worry, your nails will be fine!

But let me suggest this one thing. Acrylic nails are porous, meaning that they absorb liquids easily and that includes nail polish. Thus, they tend to stain rather easily, especially with the darker shades. To avoid this, use a good quality base coat. Basecoats will help prevent any staining by acting as a barrier between your acrylic nails, and the polish. It also helps the polish to adhere better because it acts as sort of a 'double' sided tape, which means it will last longer. It will also help the polish to 'glide' on when you apply it - making the polish easier to apply more smoothly and evenly.

Good luck!With acrylic nails?
You can if you want, I always go to the salon, it just turns out better...
it ruins the shine of the plastic.
i got acrylic nails put on like two months ago, and i took the original polish off of them about two days after i got them. It should be fine, just MAKE SURE to use a nail polish remover that is acetone-free. Also make sure you're gentle, because once the polish is off then the nails can get sort of scratchy if you keep rubbing. I changed my polish two or three times and it was fine haha.

good luck .
If you get non-acetone nail polish remover. Otherwise, it's going to just eat through the nails. But, non-acetone is pretty easy to find, you just have to read the labels. I think they kind of get stained though. So if you take the polish off, I'd suggest painting over it with a darker color than the original color.
yes u can have them paint again it will not ruin the nail
Yes, you can remove the nail polish with a non-acetone nail polish remover, which will not damage the acrylic, and then paint them with a different color of polish if you like.
