Acrylic nails?

i want to do my own Acrylic nails but i couldn't find any brush cleaner in the store so I'm getting some online but could i clean the brush with the acrylic nail remover until i get the brush cleaner or would the eat the brush or just not work or somethingAcrylic nails?
As a nail tech, I can tell you that the best way to clean a brush is to use monomer (the liquid). Forget about brush cleaners, and alcohol, nail polish remover and all that stuff. My brushes are pure Kolinsky hair brushes that cost an average of $45 - $50 each, and I wouldn't dare put them in anything else other than monomer. Yes, it will mess up your brush using these things. You my not notice it right away, but it does mess them up. Just use some fresh monomer in a dappen dish , and wet the brush well, then wipe it on a table towel, a brush wipe, or even a lint-free paper towel. Wipe the brush back and forth a few times, and repeat this process until it is clean. Always use a fresh area on the wipe or whatever you use that has not been used already, and is clean and dry. And don't go over the same area twice. Use a fresh area each time while cleaning your brush. The same goes for acrylic application. Never wipe your brush on an already used portion of the wipe, towel or whatever. Make sure that all acrylic has been removed, or it will harden on the brush. Then, gently drag your brush along the table towel, and rotate it at the same time. What this does is create a point in the tip of the brush, and then you can store it like that. This keeps your brushes in the shape that they were meant to be - a point on the tip. There shouldn't be any stray hairs, or have a clumpy look to it. It should look nicely pointed, and neat.

Also, if you ever get acrylic stuck in your brush where it hardens on it, just soak it in monomer for about a half hour to an hour, and it should be fairly easy to clean the acrylic off after the soaking. Don't ever force hardened acrylic from a brush. Be patient and soak it for a while. Forcing it off the brush is a sure way to ruin it.

A good quality, and properly cared for Pure Kolinsky brush will last for a long time. Neglect it, or clean it in any of the above mentioned products, and it will shorten its life dramatically.

I hope this helps.Acrylic nails?
Rubbing alcohol works well as brush cleaner. I don't even use brush cleaner anymore because I think it's harder on the bristles. After you're done using your liquid monomer, squirt some alcohol in your dish, swish the brush around, squirt (with a spray bottle) more alcohol on your bristles and keep wiping on paper towel.
you can use the nail remover until you get the brush..or 100% acetone.
