Which is better acrylic or gel nails ?

i heard that gel are better for your nails but one of my friends said she couldnt tell the difference and its just more expensive. what is the difference ?Which is better acrylic or gel nails ?
gel is so much better for you, my mom has them, if you get acrylic it makes your nails soft and they stop growing and you can only wear them for a couple of days maybe a week but with gel you can keep them on you go and get them filled and they only cost more because they are like natural depending on where you goWhich is better acrylic or gel nails ?

They are no better (or worse) that acrylic L%26amp;P, just different in the way in which they are applied. They both are an acrylic composite so both are acrylic.





Also, gel is usually buffed/filed off rather than soaked although L%26amp;P can also be filed to a really thin layer then the rest soaked (but not usual though) so that your fingers aren't in the acetone solution for long.





It really is down to if the proper application and removal procedures are adhered to with acrylic and gel as to how your natural nails do underneath.





Also gel is slightly more expensive, but if you look after your nails regardless of whether they are gel or L%26amp;P, then it doesn't matter which you have.
gel is worse. acrylic makes them look more fantasy but gel makes them look more natural. I don't know. its up to you what you proffer. i like acrylic.
uhhhh acrylic lasts more then 2 days or a week depending how they get put on. U can get both filled. Gel is more expensive. Gel comes in colors and clear glitters and doesn't chip
I'm loving the name lol, and they are both the same...well except the prices.
