I've never got my nails done before:
How much does it cost to get french manicure tipped fake nails?
How often do I need to get them re-done?
Does it cost less to get them re-done?
How can I remove them?
Any other information would be useful, since I don't know anything about getting my nails done.
I'm a nail biting wanting acrylic nails....Questions?
I recommend getting uv liquid gel nails from a certified technician. Gel nails look more natural, feel more flexible and are by far better than acrylics. They cost a lot more than acrylics because they are better and require less maintenance.
Acrylic nails are thick and often chip and crack.. especially if you try to nibble on them. Gels are more forgiveable to a nip or two if you can't help yourself. Gel nails also don't lift at the edges like acrylic nails do so you will need less maintenance to get them filled. Acrylic nails need to be filled within two weeks and lift easy.
With gel nails, they should never lift if the tech is really good at applying them. Make sure they are real uv gel nails and not so called powder gel. Real gel nails are just gel and no powder.
You will only need to fill gel nails as often as two weeks but they can wait up to 5 weeks. My gel nails never lift and always look glossy and new all the way up to my next fill.
I get pink uv gel nails and have the tech airbrush a white tip under the last layer of gel. They look better than the pink and white acrylics and way better than having a white tip put on. I highly recommend them.
You can also get pink and white gel nails where they use a pink gel at the base and the sculpt white gel on at the tip. They look great too. I prefer the airbrush to the pink and white gels only because my nails grow quickly and I like the white smile lines on the tip to be redone with every fill. This is cheaper than getting a pink and white gel refill or rebalance.
The initial full set will cost anywhere from $40 - $75 for uv gel nails and the fills are around $30-$35. With gels, like I said before.. they only need to be filled an average of every 3 weeks or more.
For me, I had to get my acrylics filled every week and at most every two weeks and it cost way too much and didn't look half as nice as my gel nails..
Hope that helped a little.
Good luck.I'm a nail biting wanting acrylic nails....Questions?
How much does it cost to get french manicure tipped fake nails?: 15$-50$
How often do I need to get them re-done? every 2 weeks
Does it cost less to get them re-done? yes to get them filled because all they have to do is put the acrylic over the part that grew out
How can I remove them? with nail polish remover or going to a salon, or biting them off or under hot water
another tip try finding a salon you like so you can keep going there, most salons will say that they are doing gels on you when you ask for gels but they are really doing acrylic with gel overlay. acrylic is really bad for your nails so i recomend fiber, or REAL gels, to tell you gels arent like jelly they are just yeah.
hope i helped Taylor
Depending on where you live and what salon you go to it may cost anywhere from 20 dollars to 60 dollars! Depending on how oily your nailbeds are it is always best to get them done every 2 weeks. It does cost less to get a ';fill'; but not by much. I personally like to spend just a little more to get a full set every 2 weeks. it looks much nicer. Removing them isn't easy! I bite mine off! Bad idea! But nail techs have a solution that removes them. They generally charge from 5 to 10 dollars for this. My suggestions to my fellow nail biter is get clear tips because since your nails are so short...it would look much better than to have white tips so close to your cuticle...if you catch my drift! There are many options with acrylic nails but start basic and a little on the cheaper side to see if you enjoy them...no need in spending 60 bucks on something you will just chew off! Also, it does help with the habbit if you have the will power and the motivation! If you have any more questions just let me know! I hope I have been helpful my dear.

usually around 20-22 dollars.....they tell you to get them done every two weeks but if your nails grow slow give it 3 weeks and yes it cost less to get them done unless you break one or something....to remove them take a cotton and soak it with pure acetone not the cheap stuff and then put it on your nail and wrap a piece of aluminumpaper around it and then take something sharp and slide it in between your nail and the acrylic and slowly pop them off...i used to bite my nails too and i got my nails done for like two months and now i dont bite them anymore! hope it helps!....one more thing it will mess up your nails so when you take them off buy a buffer and it will make them soft and smooth!
dont get your nails done, beacuse they look like asss for months and months afterwards! they look good for like a week and then your nails start to grow out.... plus they are so uncomfortable... the time i got them done i couldnt unzip my pants, pop a zit on my face, (and you know you gotta do it when you see one), also wiping ur bootay was hard a first few times!!!! lol, i know too much info.... hahaha, but no i would not get them done... put some amazing nail polish on your nails and tell yourself if you bit your nail it will get messed up, so that way when you are actuaaly not biting them you will see your nail grow out and will be encouraged to keep going....
Good luCK!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahaha. I'm a nail biter too!
I actually advise you to only get acrylics for special occasions instead of getting them for no reason. When you get them, they pretty much drill down your nail for it to be really thin.
When the nails actually come off, your nails will be extremely nasty.
I got my nails done in June, they fell off in July and their still messed up.
1. almost 40 bucks.
2. every 2 weeks.
3. it cost around 20 bucks.
4. either soak them in nail polish remover is peel them off.
just resist the urge to bite. chew gum all day.
dont get a funky color.
probably get white glitter.
i have never personally got my nails done. the reason is ---ive seen what the nails look like when you take them off. they totally wreck your nails. they look like hell for a long time. so unless you want your nails to look even worse don't do it.
