First time acrylic nails sore, painful?

I got acrylic nails done today, both my thumbs are really sore (even though I did not get a false nail put on one of them because it was long enough). They ache so much and I am worried that there could be another reason for their aching?

Any advise?First time acrylic nails sore, painful?
I think you are fine, they should be better tomorrow, but if not go back and have them removed, then go somewhere else and have them put back on.

If you go have them removed, be sure to tell them the situation and hopefully they will refund you your money!First time acrylic nails sore, painful?
get it checked with doctor
im guessing the person who did them filed your nails pretty rough, but they were supposed to spray something on them whenever you felt a burning sensation. you'll be okay, just run some cold water over your sore nails.
It's hard to tell because you don't say which part of your thumbs are sore. It could be anything from the way the nail tech held your fingers while applying the acrylic to how hard she filed, either while prepping or when filing the acrylic.

If you want, you can contact me through this site and give me more details, and I can try and tell you what I think it is. I have had acrylic overlays (thin acrylics over my natural nails) off and on for more than ten years, so I may have an idea if you can give me more specific details.

Let me know if it's the nail bed which hurts, or the base of your nails, or the sides. That alone will tell me a lot about what your problem is.
Well, hmm. The perosn who done your nails was probably too rough with your fingers. it happens to me everytime I get my nails done thats why I dont get them done anymore. PLus the bonding glue or acrylic has a really firm grip on your real nail. It should feel better in a day or two. Soak your fingers in hot water, and limit how much you use your hand doing strenuous things.
i just got mine done today too

and they're sore.

just give it time

and dont put too much pressure on them
That is actually pretty normal especially if it is your first time getting acrylics. They may hurt for a few days but if it doesn't stop after that then you should have them removed.
The first time i got my nails done they were sore too.. all i did was put them in hot water for like 10 minutes then they started to feel a little bit better.. i think the reason why they get sore is because your fingers arent just to being handled like that.. (well the nail salon i went to they weren't the most gentle people)
nope...hello u just got them done today..you'll be fine they should be better by tommorrow or the next day
SORRY I JUST NEED POINTS
